To promote awareness of climate change and environmental issues, over 100 fruit trees were planted in the park behind the play court with support from local schools.

To enhance the appearance of the park, volunteers and community supporters have planted flowers throughout. This effort was further supported by the planting of new trees across the park in partnership with grounds maintenance services. Large planters and seating were installed at the park entrance to create a more welcoming gateway. Due to flooding caused by a natural well on the park’s slope, FOSP, in partnership with the council, established a wildflower area to help with drainage while also enhancing the site's visual impact."
